We are always saddened when one of our patients is diagnosed with cancer.  However, in many cases, these diseases have become as treatable as other chronic problems and can often have a positive outcome.  With recent veterinary medical advances, cats and dogs can live longer and fuller lives than ever before. 

Cancer Treatment Services include:

• Cancer Surgery can be curative, or may decrease tumor size thereby providing comfort.  Removal of cancerous tissue increases the effectiveness of other therapies.
• Chemotherapy is usually very well tolerated by our animal patients and can extend life expectancy and quality of life
• In-House Lab so that patients can receive both monitoring and treatment during their visits
• Radiation Therapy:  DVM Hospitals maintains relationships with veterinary radiologists and can make referrals when this treatment modality is indicated
